Account Deletion
You can delete your SweatStreak account at any time, directly from within the app. This page explains how, and what data is removed when you do.
1. How to Delete Your Account
Account deletion is available directly within the SweatStreak mobile app — no need to contact support unless you prefer to.
In-app navigation path
You will be asked to confirm your password before deletion proceeds. This prevents accidental or unauthorised account removal.
Once confirmed, your personal information is anonymised immediately and all associated data is permanently purged within 30 days. The process cannot be reversed after confirmation.
2. What Happens to Your Data
Deletion happens in two stages. Your personal information is removed immediately; remaining records are fully purged within 30 days.

Account record
The anonymised account document is retained for a 30-day audit trail required under India's DPDP Act, then hard-deleted
De-identified session records contain no name, email, or any information that can be linked back to you. They are used solely for anonymous aggregate statistics during the retention window.
3. Data Retention After Deletion
Beyond the 30-day purge window described above, certain technical records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes:
- Security. Logs related to account access or suspicious activity may be retained to protect against fraud and abuse.
- Fraud prevention. Records necessary to detect, investigate, or prevent fraudulent use of our services.
- Legal compliance. Data we are required to retain under applicable law or to respond to valid legal requests (e.g. tax records, regulatory obligations).
- Disaster recovery. Encrypted backup snapshots may contain data for a short period before being overwritten per our backup rotation schedule.
Any retained records are isolated from normal application use, cannot be used to access or recreate your account, and are deleted once the applicable retention period expires.
